Working on crawling. Safety gear has been purchased. When rocking back and forth on all fours, does it with more vigor when Mommy and Daddy say "Vroom! Vroom!" Fascinated by our robot vacuum. Doesn't seem to have an "inside voice." How can someone could keep their tongue stuck out at much as she does? Loves mangos. Hates peas. Is able to sleep and bounce in her jump-a-roo . . . AT THE SAME TIME! Recently got smacked upside the head by the kitteh . . . and deserved it.

On Friday I was getting ready to leave for the store to go buy a bouncer for the baby. I put her down for her morning nap, took the monitor up to Chris and proceeded to leave the house. Not paying attention (isn't this how most of these stories start?), I trip and fall down the garage stairs hearing a loud crack/pop noise from my left foot. Much pain ensued. I call Chris from my cellphone to tell him, "I fell and I'm lying on the floor of the garage." Kudos to him for translating that into, "Help, I done fell down hard." So the whole pregnancy is coming along fine, although the glucose test sucks!  It's a test to see how my body handles sugar since pregnant women can gestational diabetes.  I took the regular test, but when they tested my blood, the levels were a bit off so I had to do the special 3-hour version. We got to the doctor's office around 9:45am and I had my blood drawn and then I drank a special sugary drink.  Then I got to wait around and have my blood drawn on the hour for 3 hours.  All the while with no food or drink.  After the last blood draw, Chris and I went and got some food.  Wonderful, delicious food . . .
